Easter Sunrise

There was a man
That walked on this land
He was not ordinary by any means
God robed in flesh anointed by heavens holy beam
He loved mankind
That he let his flesh be bind
To a wooden cross
That his spilt pure blood might save the lost
Man's sins are washed away
By the holy sacrifice that God made on that Calvary day
Yes the physical body was dead
But there is another story to be said
God defied death, hell, and the grave
For his spirit arose that Easter day
He had arose to a new spiritual height
By his holy powerful might
We too can now be pure and free
Washed by his holy blood that can cleanse you and me
When the sun arose that Easter morn
The veil between flesh and spirit had been torn
God's loving sacrifice makes it possible
For mankind to go beyond the impossible
If we repent of our sins
With God we can live again
In heavens holy place
Always to behold the Savior Gods holy face
