A TRIBUTE TO VANI

We were men and women hungry for more
Wanting to rise - to climb - to soar
So God sent a vessel, overflowing in his power
To help us prepare as we approach the final hour
A tiny figure of a woman...from Malaysia
And when she speaks, it will utterly amaze ya'
Vani has encouraged and inspired us one and all
With words of comfort to lift us, should we fall
Wisdom to help us understand the Word of God
And the power to overcome as we upward trod
Her teaching made me look into the mirror of my soul
So I could be cleansed, renewed and made whole
Tearing down strongholds - she made us warriors of prayer
She has an anointing of God to which nothing does compare
A true love for Jesus and to carry out his Word
It's what Vani is about - just in case you haven't heard
A light shining in the darkness - a heart of pure gold
Clay in the potter's hands, so wonderfully he could mold
Vani - a vessel - more a CHANNEL of his love
She seeks only the will of the Father above
She gave us new hope and helped us touch the master
We were lifted up out of the pit - spared from disaster
Thank you Vani - those words aren't nearly enough
We'll remember your teaching when the going gets tough
May God continue to bless your every aim and goal
As you carry out his work - reaching soul after soul.
(And we will not forget - no, we shall remember...
You'll be back...sometime around September)

(Note: Vani Marshall is a missionary to the United States from Malaysia and has taught numerous Bible Study workshops that have enriched the lives of all who attended.  She and her husband travel back and forth from the U.S. to Asia ministering everywhere they go.  This is dedicated to her honor for the work she does for the Kingdom of God.)
